Bella Roma

Yes, we made it! Our plane was a little late, and the airport terminal was a little difficult to navigate, the passport control lines were long, the rooms weren't ready, and there's some major event going on at The Vatican. Long story short, we aren't touring the Vatican Museum, as we should be. Well, rats. It is what it is. If we can wake Mary up, maybe we can still get something done today.

I have to say, driving through those old city walls of Rome was an experience. Passing an Egytpian obelisk and the Colosseum on the way to our rooms was an experience. Thank goodness we didn't have the experience of actually driving in Rome. Being driven to and through Rome was enough, thank you!

  1. Glad to see you’ve arrived safely. I’m jealous. I wish I could drive past the coliseum. For now, I’ll just see it through your eyes. Take pictures Mary!! Animals are still alive, love you both, John.

  2. What, you don't want to go to the Vatican? It's history in the making! It's Pope John Paul's beautification to become a saint!
